Meet the Brownsville School Counselors
Mrs. Callihan
School Counselor Grades K-1 I grew up outside of Orlando, Florida, but I have lived in Boston, Seattle, Maryland and Charlottesville since graduating from college. I earned my undergraduate degree in journalism from the University of Florida and my graduate degree in counseling from Northwest University. I have worked with children and families for more than 15 years, both in clinical and school settings. I also worked as a Prevention Specialist for a community mental health agency. My husband and I have three children, ages 8, 10, and 12. Our family loves to travel, hike, read, raise our (small!) flock of chickens, and spend time with our dog. I am so excited to BEE part of the Brownsville Counseling Team and am looking forward to getting to know you! |
Ms. Ingram
School Counselor Grades 2-3 I am originally from Charleston, West Virginia. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Virginia Tech, and my Master’s degree in Counseling from West Virginia University. I have experience working with children in clinical settings, and I have worked as a school counselor for twenty years. I am a proud mother of a Brownsville bee, and a high schooler. I try to balance my work life with running, spending time with family and friends, gardening and being outside as much as possible. I enjoy working at BES and feel lucky to both live and work in this community. |
Mrs. Geddy
School Counselor Grades 4-5 I am from Charlottesville and grew up in Albemarle County Public Schools! I am a graduate of Virginia Tech (undergrad) and UVA (graduate). Before Brownsville, I worked as a school counselor in Charlottesville City Schools at Walker Upper Elementary (5th and 6th grade) for 11 years. I live in Charlottesville with my husband, two young children Lou and Ollie, and my dog, June. I love nature, crafting, color, peace, kindness, mexican food, dogs, travel and plants. I am excited to get to know the Crozet community and to help you bee your best self! |
