Meet the Brownsville School Counselors
Mrs. Christie Callihan School Counselor Grades Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd I grew up outside of Orlando, but I've lived in Boston, Seattle, Maryland and Charlottesville since graduating from college. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of Florida and my Master's degree in Counseling from Northwest University. I have worked with children and families for 19+ years in clinical, non-clinical and school settings. My husband and I have three children, ages 11, 13, and 15. Our family loves to travel, hike, bake, and spend time with our 3-year-old Bernedoodle. I am excited to BEE a part of the Brownsville Counseling Team, and look forward to seeing all our returning and new bees! |
Ms. Alyson Ingram School Counselor Grades 3rd, 4th, and 5th I am originally from Charleston, West Virginia. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Virginia Tech, and my Master’s degree in Counseling from West Virginia University. I have experience working with children in clinical settings, and I have worked as a school counselor for twenty two years. This is my 10th year at Brownsville. I am a proud mother of a middle schooler, and a college student. I try to balance my work life with running, spending time with family and friends, gardening and being outside as much as possible. I enjoy working at BES and feel lucky to both live and work in this community. |
